The Team Leader is responsible for driving sales across team of 8 - 12 Sales Advisors. Leading a sales team and providing leadership towards the achievement of maximum conversion.The Team Leader is also responsible for meeting their own sales targets in relation to IVA sales.
· Responsible for making sure that all files for advisers are closed in the correct way ensuring maximum conversion rate on pack back.
· Responsible for conducting 1 – 1 meetings on a regular basis and holding daily/weekly and monthly team meetings
· Ensure all targets are met relating to Meeting Of Creditor’s in the month. This involves liasing with our drafting team and Insolvency Practitioner on a regular basis.
· Be the driving force behind the sales team, motivating the team and improving performance
· Ensure all clients are sent an IVA pack along with the necessary information relayed across to the client about payment options.
· Responsible for chasing overdue packs and payments.
· Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance. Keeping a track of all files using Excel spreadsheets.
· Maintains accurate records of all sales and activity reports on a daily, weekly and month basis
· Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
· Sets examples for Sales Advisors in areas of personal character, commitment, organisational and selling skills, and work habits
· Interact and cooperate with all company employees.
SKILLS
· 3-5 years of experience in selling financial service products at a high level of performance is essential, evidence of meeting own sales targets will be required
· 3-5 years of experience in debt management/IVA sales management is desirable but experience is general finance and or collections experiences will be considered
· Strong understanding of our customers and market dynamics and requirements is essential
· Willingness to be flexible dependant upon the demands of the business is essential
· Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams is essential.
